On May 23, Ren Yuming, the Deputy Mayor has companied Zheng Wenkai, the Vice Minister of the State Council of Poverty Alleviation to invest the outstanding contributions made in poverty alleviation. The President Huang Darong, the Vice President Xue Dafang, and the assist in the management of Production Department Yang Xiangji, Manager of Administration Department Li Dong and so forth have companied each leader visiting the workshop and the display of products in the company. A forum was hold in the Living room of Party.
During the meeting, President Huang has reported development of company. It is illustrated that since the global outbreak of financial crisis, the business of export is in a downturn in the global market; however, Xinya Electronic Company has achieved a rising trend by means of optimizing products composition and adjusting the market plan. At the same time, difficulties the company have faced with were also been mentioned, for instance, the difficulty in recruitment, children’s education of migrant workers and so forth. This company was categorized in the industry of labour-intensity. Due to the facts for instance, the shortage of labor resources, the rising cost of material and cost of labor, currently products of the company have been outsourced to underdeveloped areas. Young and middle-aged women without having a job, and some teenagers could be organized for some business and owned money through their work. Not only the problem of shortage of labor that the company faces with could be dealt with, but also helped to increase the livings for families in the poverty. This is a win-win situation. Currently, the company has established ten outsourcing station. It has taken initial shape with appropriately RMB 50 million annual outputs. There are still some problems existing in this model, for instance, if the local government do not give support to this model, then this kind of family cottage with small scale could not be able to conduct formal business license as these formal enterprises do. There is no regular tax revenue, thus no profit has been created to the government.
